Interesting tour @ Mengjia

Mengjia is located at new Taipei city and the earest MRT station is Long Shang Temple. It's a place filled with histories of Taiwan. A place where can tell me the stroies of Taiwan through the old buildings, food and the people living there. e.g: Elderly man making chopping knives using the tradional ways, the old food markets filled with traditional Taiwanese food and decorations.

The old chinese library

Very tender and juicy, but the feet are a bit scary to look at.

This is the man who spent nearly the whole of his life making chopping knives in traditional way. He is quite upset that non of his children will take over and learn the technic.

I love the old timber door frame.

The old rustic wall surface, don't you think it looks like the chinese painting?

showing the old building structer.combination of bamboo and concrete.

I remember my primary school days in Taiwan. These are the table and chairs!

I am playing the Taiwanese puppets.

Gangster fashion style back in the olden days of Taiwan. Not bad at all.

Love the details.

Such a cheerful painting.

These are the stuffs for the wedding prepartion in the olden days.

Chinese traditional dres-Qi Pao.

The opened air restaurant!

I hope you will like the place I love by looking at the rest pictures.
