Learning how to make simple and healthy food.

Recently, Mr M had a general health check up and mine is coming up soon. As he doesn't speak Mandarin so I was his personal interpreter through out the check up, and that was an interesting experience. During the check up, I had some chances to chat with the nurses and they kindly tell me on how to improve our health, luckily, Mr M is pretty healthy! 

As my health check is coming up soon and I don't want to look too bad on the day, so I started to eat healthier than I usually do. I always get so excited when I shop in one of these Taiwanese traditional market, I get to see all kind of fresh vegetable, fruit, fish and meat. My problem is when I see all these, my brain start working out on what to cook for the rest of the week for our meals. Therefore, I ended up buying too much and ended up having much left over. 

Today is the day that I start to think simply and cook simple and buy less groceries and we feel good after this balanced meal. 

Today's  dinner menu:
Grilled fish
Sauté sweet potato leaves
Fresh tofu garnished with shredded ginger and spring onion.
