Last weekend, we went to one of our favorit place in taipei- Yong Kang Street (永康街), that's where the antique maret is. We were planning to hunt for some chinese/taiwanese style antique cabinet.. but the market was not opened... so, we walked around the neighbourhood and realised that we were acutally near by another beautiful area called- Qing tian street (青田街). there are many relaxing cafe in the old Japanese styled house.
We bought this side table and cushion in a antique shop, the owner of the shop will travel around the world and buy pieces of furniture, lightings or accessories. Mr M spotted this side table from Danmark, we love it! and I always have my eyes on this lovely summery 70's fabric. I thought it will add some more warmth into our home and it does.. AND we might get one more of it.
AND NOW.. LADIES & GENTALMEN..(drum roll.....) MAY I INTRODUCE OUR NEW FAMILY MEMEBR, WHO IS OUR SON, HIS NAME IS MIKO!!!!!
We adopted him on the same day we bought the side table and the cushion. An animal home set up a temporary 'home' for the homeless dogs and cats in the nearby park. That's where Miko and I met, and it was love at first sight. He has 3 others siblings, but I only have eyes on him. isn't he adorable? he felt shy and tense when he first at home, but soon after a couple of few hours, he started to walk around the flat and started playing with us.
