Weekend Treasures

We went to Yong Kang St at central Taipei again for walk. It's a place filled with surprises, eg: mini antique market, funky cafe, traditional Taiwanese food & old Japanese style houses.. galleries.. so on and so on. We love going there just to walk around and we bought most of our home accessories from that area too.

Here is one of the cafe and antique store we like in yong kang st, it's called Moooi!
We found this old Taiwanese suitcase in the mini antique market! My eyes fall on it when the min I saw it! It's just the right size with 4 wheels, lovely dark olive colour with leather handle. The owner told us that it's unusual for this type of suitcase comes in olive green, normally it only comes in red. Red colour suitcase was normally for the bride to take it with them to their husband home, it will have their personal clothing and accessories. To take their luck with them to the new family... I love listening to this old stories and especially a story behind this object.
