This weekend..

It's moonsoon season in Taiwan at the moment, according to the weather broadcast, it's going to be heavy rain over this weekend. I woke up on saturday noon...(normally I do wake up earlier than noon, due to the stressful work on the weekdays, I have not been sleeping too well.. so that's my excuse for staying in bed till noon). So I woke up and saw the sunshine were shimmering through our flat, feeling rather happy and relaxed. Thank God for the lovely weather!

We took a walk to the park near our neighbour with Miko and guess what we saw!!!

Yes!!! it's giant lizards!!!!! They belong to a man who have them as pets! I already forgot their real name, but they are from South America. They have the most beautiful skin colour and they are very gentle. All the dogs came around them and trying to find out what they are, like us, the owners were all taking cameras and taking pictures of them. Their owner must feel pround and happy! The world is full of suprise and you know, we walk the dog, cat. rabbit, goats, cows.. so on and so on.. but never walk the Lizards!!

time flies and he is growing up so fast!

Home made banana cake...

I didn't use any scale to bake this cake, so was rather worried about the outcome, I was using my natural sense and feel the texture of the mix while mixing the ingredients... Phew... the outcome was a success! :) Ta da! it's moist and just the right texture  and taste I imagine...

what next.... apple crumble?? yeh!

I wish my day is like this weekend everyday... When can i take a break my dear Lord?
