It's the year of horse for the Chinese. I went back to Hsin Chu city where my dad lives. Last night was the family reunion dinner for every family, but since my mum and youngest brother are based in Singapore, and my other younger was working, we didn't really have a family reunion dinner. Instead, there were only my dad, Mr M and I. It was a quiet reunion dinner. I hope we will have a better and more fruitful CNY next year.
The weather has been wonderful these days, Mr M and I decided to ride a scooter to the city center this afternoon. There is a strong ambience of CNY in the city, many people are wearing red and laughters all around.
I love the old houses with staircase made of stone.
Nice chilling chairs on the street.
The store in the market.
This market area is usually busy, filled with crowd, but it's so empty and quiet at this time of the year.
The sound of fire crackers started to kick out by midnight last night. I called my mum and my brother in Singapore, we skyped for a while, so it's kind of a family reunion for us too. Happy CNY, and God bless us.
