A good friend of mine told me that 3rd of March is a girl's day in Japan, all the girls will be dressing up in beautiful Kimono and there will be a doll display at home too. How lucky are the Japanese girls celebrating the girl's day, I want to celebrate it too especially on my birthday!!!
Ms R took me for a lovely Italian lunch at Notting Hill Gate! It's a ladies' lunch so we enjoyed so much and the weather was lovely too.
I wanted to have a walk in Notting Hill Gate, Portabello Road, it's one of my favorite place in London. It's so much quieter during the weekday and I love it when it is not as busy as on Saturday, it's just too many tourist on a Saturday, although there are many more stalls and shops open on Saturday.
Remember the Travel bookshop in the film ' Notting Hill' by Hugh Grant and Julia Robert? We visited there and went in for a browse. I love the book shop, there are so many interesting books you can find in there.
We carry on walking around the area
Paul Smith used to live in this house at Notting Hill.
The first row of the picture is a bunch of people look into the window display of a local bucterler's shop at Holland park, and the second row is another lovley bookshop at holland park.
My paddingdon bear in the shop. The good Fairy picture you see is a mini market which is only opened on saturday.
Love the wording!
I am in love with this shop, so british, I wish I can take the whole shop with me! Do you like the hat on me? it's a man's hat.
Alice's is another one of my favourit shop, it's like treasure hunting, you can find so many interesting treasures in this shop!
The colour of Notting Hill and I found my no 33 sweater haha, but didn't get it.
Paper cutting animals done by the children in a nusery school.
In the evening, Mr M took me for a nice dinner at Jamie's Italian at Westfield.
Um.. yummy, we tried some interesting starters to shair and I had pasta carbonara and Mr M had the squid ink angel hair pasta as main accompany by Funky garlic chips! very garlicky!
The waiter gave us a can of tomato before the starter, both of us were wonder what is that for and we didn't order a can of tomato, is it for us to take home or are we suppose to open it and have it??? and when a plate of salami and hame came, we realise what are the can of tomato for, it's for supporting the plate!! It's so Jamie...
We went for a movie after the dinner and it's called 'West is West' a british comedy film which I like it. Thank you Mr M I enjoyed the dinner and the film very much...
